We started Excerebus® Logistics, Inc. in the middle of the 2020 pandemic!  Why start a business now when so many talking heads are claiming this is the worst economy since the great depression?  We are here to tell you; it is actually the greatest time to start a business!  Did you know that some of the most recognized names in business were all startups during some of the most economically challenging times in our country's history?  We accept the challenge of starting a business NOW, because we believe and trust in the American People!

Veterans, Family and Logistics…It's Who We Are!  It's not just a catchy slogan, it represents the journey to Excerebus® Logistics. When joining the US Air Force, you don’t always get the job you want, but somehow, it’s the job you are supposed to have.  I wanted to be an accountant, but instead I got an adventure as an Air Transportation Journeyman, where I got to build pallets of material to save the wildlife when the Exxon Valdez spilled oil off the coast of Alaska (1989), participated in the airdrops for military action during Operation Just Cause in Panama (1989), supported Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm (1990-1991), welcomed the evacuees following the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in the Philippines (1991) and serviced the aircraft when the Haitian Refugees were brought to Panama (1994).

While these adventures were enough to keep anyone busy, my mother's words kept playing in my head, "an education can never be taken away from you".  Getting a bachelor's degree became a driving goal that I wouldn't let go.  Life after the military continued and it wasn't long before the chaos of family life with an active duty husband, military deployments and being a family readiness group leader, raising 5 children, working for a Fortune 500 company and volunteer work slowed me down, but it didn't stop me!  It may have taken awhile, but a BBS with a Major in Accounting and an MBA are hanging on the wall, as well as a CPA License!  With the education, experience and licensing owning a CPA Firm seemed to make the most sense.  Sometimes making sense in a career decision doesn't matter...what always makes sense is FAMILY.  My now grown children have acquired their own skills and experiences and making the decision to create a legacy that will live beyond our existence was an easy choice to make!

We welcome you to join our family at Excerebus® Logistics, Inc.
